Limit function execution to once per specified time interval

  let inThrottle;
  return function (...args) {
    if (!inThrottle) {
      func.apply(this, args);
      inThrottle = true;
      setTimeout(() => (inThrottle = false), limit);
    }
  };
}

Usage

const handleScroll = throttle(() => {
  console.log('Scroll position:', window.scrollY);
}, 100);

window.addEventListener('scroll', handleScroll);
